Paul Chambers/N0BBD, Franklin County EC, approached me after attending the March 9th St. Louis Metro ARES meeting where I gave a presentation talking about the MSTLCO node and STLBBS.
Franklin County has been an up and coming active group on the BBS and is very much interested in renewing packet operations in their area.
Paul will be hosting the WASHMO node I’ve setup for their group using a Raspberry Pi B+ board. We’ll be getting together March 28th.
The node will allow the ARES operators in Franklin County to have a reliable link within their own county and allow them access to MEPN.
Paul will also be hosting an RMS gateway on 145.070.
