I decided to migrate the previous BPQ32 installation on Windows 7 over to LINBPQ running on Ubuntu 14.04LTS mainly for stability and security.
The base hardware has changed a bit as well. The N0MTH node on 145.050MHz is running on the following:
- Raspberry Pi 2 – Quad-Core 900MHz ARMv7
- 1GB Memory
- 64GB microSD
- Keyspan 19-HS USB to Serial Adapter
The PUBLIC RMS Gateway is still available as N0MTH-10. There is also a BPQ Chat Server in place at MTHQSO:N0MTH-4.
The same hourly message and configuration backup is still taking place.
