25 Years in Ham Radio!

This year marks my 25th anniversary of having my ham radio license.

I obtained my Novice class call (KBØBBL) back in late 1988. Many thanks to Gene Kremin, NIØX for teaching the summer school course at Hopkins High School. If it wasn't for your code copying tips, I'm not sure I would've made the 5wpm. I didn't upgrade to my Tech+ (NØMTH) till around February of 1991.

Unfortunately, I didn't show up in the callbooks till the first of 1989. And I did not have a copy of my original license from fall of 1988. So I had to wait till Jan 1, 2014 to join the Quarter Century Wireless Association.

Now that I've joined up, my QCWA number is 36422.
